5.0 out of 5 stars カナルタイプの高音重視モデルの完成品といえるでしょう, 2006/9/28
このイヤホンの音を端的に言葉で表すとすると適度な低音に豊かな中音、そして伸びがあり艶やかな高音といえるでしょう。
この価格帯でこの音を出せるE4は賞賛に値します。
ただあくまで低音は”適度”なので低音がドンドンくるような音が好きな人はsuper fi 5 proを選択するのが吉でしょう。（ただsuperはソースを選ぶイヤホンです。ソースによっては音像がぼやけて聞こえます。）
このイヤホンはソースを選ばず、まさに音楽を”楽しむ”といった用途に最適です。
特に高音域の伸びは素晴らしくこの価格帯の他社のイヤホンより一歩抜きんでています。
ヴァイオリンの高音弦は一度は聞く価値があります。

インナーイヤーヘッドホンとしては完成された1例といって言いいでしょう
高音域の伸び、解像度の高さ、最高傑作といっても過言ではありません
。いかなるジャンルもそつなくこなします。
Super.fi 5 Proがロックに特化したヘッドホンであるのに対して、E4cはあくまですべてのジャンルをそつなくこなすことに特化しています。
言い換えると、ロックだけならSuper.fi 5 Proのほうがいいです。
ただ、音の純粋さ、いわゆるきれいな音を求めるならE4cにかなうものはありません。E5cもありますが、そちらは実際賛否両論で、E4cのほうがいいという意見のほうが多いように感じます。E5cは単純に音がいいことはいいのですが音の種類、ジャンルを選ぶらしく万人向けでは決してありません。
あと、補足で、Super.fi 5 Proに比べると低音は若干弱いですので、低音が弱いことで有名なgigabeatと組み合わせると、少し不満があるかもしれません。

カナルタイプでのベストのひとつといっていい製品。
シュァーならではの注音域での豊かさに加え高音の伸びやかできれいなことは特筆に価する。
低域がもうすこしあればと思うのだが、しかし、ポータブルということを
考えればこれがリーズナブルなところかもしれない。
バランスのよさで言えばシュァーで一番だろう。
よくぞこのドライバでここまでやれたものだと感心してしまう。
遮音性能も良く、聞き疲れしない、またこれを聞くとプレーヤーに付属のイヤフォンを聞きなれている耳には今まで聞こえなかった音までが聞こえてくるのでびっくりするかもしれない。

エティモティックリサーチのイヤフォンとの比較がよく取りざたされるがＥＲ社のものとは、性格が異なる。
シュァーのＥ４ｃは華があり、まるで一級のコンサートホールで聞いているようなかんじで、ＥＲ社のものはスタジオで聞くような分析的聞き方をしたい人に向いている。

どちらを選んでも間違いではないが、私は音に艶のあるシュァーを選ぶ。
