久々(20年ぶり)に聞いた「戸川純」はやはり良い。アルバムからカセットテープへダビングして聞いていた当時を思い出して懐かしかった。
ドスのきいた声、ファルセット、かわい〜声。本当に色んな声が出る人だなぁーと再認識できました。

帯をはずす手が震え胸高鳴りました。CDでは極東…だけ先にもらったカセットで済ませて手にしていなかったので、そのカセットも聴けなくなり購入していなかったことを悔やんでいました。
夢見る約束をテープからテープへ…リピート録音して繰り返し聴いていた高３の秋。

彼女の代名詞である玉姫様が入ったファーストと、愛してるって言わなきゃ殺すって絶叫してるサードに比べたらわりと地味かも。本人曰く民族性をテーマにエロスを追及した作品とのこと。ちなみにファーストは生理、サードは恋愛がテーマらしい。なるほど。校歌とか民謡とか入ってて面白いんだけど、それが完成度の高さに結びついてるかというと少し疑問はある。実際３０分ちょっとしかないのにそれより長く感じるし。でも純ちゃんだから求めるものが高いだけであって、凡百のミュージシャンでは到達できない濃厚なアルバムになってることは間違いない。
