同タイプのBUFFALO社製品と比較して、コンパクトさとケース付きであることが決めてとなり、購入しました。

電源をUSBケーブルで供給する必要があるため、USBの口が２つ必要なタイプです。USBの口が1つしかないPCの場合は、USBを分岐するためのハブなどが必要です。
軽量ですし、デザイン、軽さ、大きさ、形も気に入っています。

ケースにケーブルも格納できるようにしてくれるともっと良かったです。

USB接続したPCから電源を供給することができるので、ケーブル一本で済むようになっているのがとても便利です。

初期設定のファイルシステムはNTFSになっています。

携帯用の携帯ストラップとキャリングポーチ付きになっています。

ケーブルを着脱して使用する形になっているので、ケーブルをHDD内に収納でき、さらに、ほこりやちりが入りにくいように接続部分を閉じることができればと思いました。

外付け式のポータブルHD。

とてもコンパクトで軽量のアルミボディを採用。
HDと言えば大容量にの代わりに非常にデータが飛びやすい
という欠点があるので耐衝撃ボディは嬉しいところ。

値段もHDとしては安価、普通のデータの持ち運びには40Gもあれば十分だろう。
手ごろな記録媒体が欲しい人に特にお勧め。
