某webサイトのジャズアルバムのランキングでずっと１位だったので、興味を惹かれて買いました。
買って本当に良かったと思います。
アレンジもさることながら、ピアノのなんとも言えない深い音色が美しく何度もリピートして聞いています。
アレンジはバラード風なものからアップテンポなものまでそれぞれですが、
少し重いタッチのメロディラインなので、ＢＧＭとしてかけるとしっとりした雰囲気が漂います。

クラシックの曲をジャズで演奏して成功した例はあまりない。ジム・ホールの「白鳥の湖」（ＣＴＩレコード、アルバム名スタジオ・トリエステ）など、いささか軽薄、陳腐になってしまう事が多い。成功例は、マイルス・デイビスやジム・ホールの「アランフェズ協奏曲」ぐらいだろうか。むずかしいものだ。しかし、かつての前衛の旗手、名手スティーブ・キューンとヴィーナスの名プロデューサーの原哲夫のコンビである。まさか「陳腐」なアルバムにはなるまいと思ったら、やはり素晴らしい出来だった。クラシックの名曲、誰もが知っている曲ばかりに果敢に挑戦。「クラシックのジャズ化」などという単純な事ではなく、「名曲のスティーブ・キューン化」というか独自の解釈、発展をさせている。原曲を知らない人が聴いたら、ジャズの名曲と思うにちがいない。それほど違和感なくこなれている。ただし、疑問もないわけではない。なぜ、クラシックの曲に挑戦するのか？？？？しかし、ここは一つ、黙ってキューンの偉大な才能を楽しもう。シンバルの響き、ベースの低音など相変わらずヴィーナスの録音も最高だ。（松本敏之）

これはイイですよ！私はジャズ初心者で、ジャズを知る人の勧めで買いました。私と同じくジャズ初心者の方には、ぜひ推します！
どの曲も良い雰囲気が出てます。内容はジャズピアノっていうのかな？ピアノが主体の曲です。管の音はほとんどないですが、管の迫力のあるジャズが好きって人も、これを聞くとまた違うジャズの魅力を発見できると思います。
