いやー、面白い。熱い。
「め組の大吾」とかと同じ人の原作で
この人は熱いマンガばっかり描いてるんだけど、
カペタも同様に熱い。熱すぎる。

人物や背景は平面画で、カート部分はＣＧという
アニメ版「頭文字Ｄ」と同じ手法のアニメだが
原作がしっかりしてるので面白い。

もう今どき珍しいほどの逆境ばかりの主人公だが、
努力と根性と向上心で乗り越えていくのが気持ちいい。
ストーリーを通して、カートの面白さから
フォーミュラカーの魅力までをうまく伝えてて
興味がない人でもレースシーンで熱くなること必至。

　自分は完全な勘違いをしていました。
　実際に視聴するまで、これはイニシャルＤの様なバリバリのカーバトル物を考えておりました。
　ＤＶＤを再生して１分で気が付きました。
　と、言うより、ユーロビート全開のオープング曲ですが、歌詞の漢字（易しい物も）全てに振り仮名が振ってある時点で気が付きました。
　この商品は純粋なキッズ向け商品だと。
　車に憧れる少年達の心をそのまま訴えかけるモノホンのキッズ物です。
　そんなキッズ物ですが、これ、明らかにレベルが高いです。
　まず、カート場の描写がただ事ではない。
　素人目にも実際のカートを相当に取材している事が手に取るように分かる。
　こればっかりは、技術力だけではどうしようもない物で「魂」とも呼ぶべき物を注入しないとここまでのレベルにはならないと断言できる。
　スタッフに相当カーとが好きなのがいるはずだろうと思えます。
　テーマ的にも父子家庭の家族愛、友情、努力、勝利、ついでに好きな女の子。
　実に明確。実に分かり易い。
　あらゆる年齢層に対応できるアニメって近年稀ですが、これはその一つだろうと思っております。

これ楽しいからよくみるのだが漫画は見てないのでアニメだけで話すがはっきりいって主人公にきつくあたりすぎいつもいいとこで主人公に不運こさせやがる。この作者何考えてるのか意味不明後ヒロイン筆頭ぽいもなみちゃんなんかおやじすきに設定するわ漫画版少しみたとこによるとライバルといい仲にさせるように設定したりアイドルにしちゃったりして意味不明アイドルだけならまだいいが恋人はカペタ一筋路線にしろよと言いたい。あげくにカペタにくっつきそうなキャラもなみよりヒロインぽくないし。昔から幼馴染であんだけ応援してて純情ぽいんだからやはり設定が壊滅的に終わってる。あと物語のいろんなとこシビアに書きすぎ金の面とか貧乏とかF1にあがるための蹴落としあいとか。はっきり言って前半だけみてたら萎えて見たくなくなるなこのアニメは後半(30数話くんらいから)楽しくなるまあ後半も運向いてきたと思ったらまたいいとこで不運にするしやはり意味不明。この作者話つくるのうまいが設定のセンス壊滅だな。サブキャラたち前に出ないように抑えつつ主人公軸にストーリー組み立ててって主人公幸せ独り占めでリアルでシビア面ほんのたまにしかださなかったらすごい良作になったと思う惜しまれる作品。
