先日三國無双5が発売しましたが、私個人的な感想としては、あまり満足出来る作品ではありませんでした(それなりに楽しめたのだが)。
5で遊ぶうちに、私は5よりボリュームのある4で遊びたくなり、ps2版を引っ張り出してプレイしましたが、5をプレイした為か、ps2の三國無双4の画質が酷く感じてしまいました。そこで本作品を購入しました。
ゲーム内容はps2と同じですが、画質は次世代機だけね事はあって、とても綺麗になっていました。正直、これをプレイした後、ps2版の無双シリーズはプレイ出来そうにないと考えてしまいました。xbox360としては微妙という意見もありますが、無双としてはとても満足出来る物でした。敵兵士の同時表示数も増えていて、私は「これが5でいいんでは?」とさえ思いました。
ですが、それ以外の要素は本当にそのままです。そういう意味では、新鮮さは全くありませんが、4のプレイが本当に久々で、色々と忘れていたりしていたので、かなり楽しんでいます。まさか、再び全武将を同じ作品で育てる事になるとは思いませんでした。
私のように久々に4で遊びたいと思う方にはお勧めします。ただ、4をはっきりと覚えていて、もうやりつくして飽き飽きという方にはあまりお勧めしません。

ＰＳ２版をかなりやり込んでいたので、新たな感動はもう殆どありませんでした。
確かにグラフィックは綺麗になっていますが、エフェクト関係が綺麗になった、テクスチャーの表現が細やかになった、オブジェクトやキャラクターの同時表示数が多くなった、という程度でモデルそのものやモーションは変化なし、という状態です。できればＸＢＯＸ３６０の性能を活かしてモデリングにも細かく手を加えて欲しかったところですが（腕が相変わらず角柱に見えるのはどうも・・・）。
また、「猛将伝」の要素をプラスしているので、容量の関係か、削除されてしまった部分もあり、「４」＋「猛将伝」の完全版を期待していたら実際は簡素版でした、という感じ。
もっとも、最大のがっかりポイントは長髪羽扇の女性護衛武将がステージによってムサいおっさん武将に化けてしまう事。モーションや声は元のままですからキモさ倍増。光栄さん、こういう部分はちゃんとして下さい・・・。

グラフィクがきれいになり、遠くの敵が見えやすいなど評価できる部分もありますが、PS２の三国無双4と猛将伝をお持ちの方は特に買う必要がないと思われます。なぜならば一番やりこめる立志モードとエディットモードがないからです。私は、特にこの２つのモードが好きだったためとても残念でなりません。容量的にきびしいということであれば外伝モードと修羅モードをはずして、立志とエディットモードを入れてほしかったです。
個人的には、特に修羅モードは必要なし。長すぎて一度プレイしたら飽きるため。
最後になりますが、これから三国無双4を始める方に限定されてくるかと思われます。
