たしかに音声はネイティブで聴きやすい。
だがこの端末は日本語と英語の切り替えが面倒であり、また液晶の大きさの問題上英語と日本語で表示できる範囲が違ってしまうため、英語と日本語の表示でずれてしまってうまく和訳を確認できないというマイナスポイントがある。特に単語帳の場合、日本語と英語スペルを両方確認する前に次の単語に進んでしまうので、非常に面倒だ。
それに、確かに本体の大きさは小さいのであるが、発音記号は表示されないし、英語を確認するにはいちいち液晶を確認しなければならず、場所によっては非常に見にくい。それに、実際に外出中にずっと液晶をにらんでいるというのはなかなか難しいのではないか。
最初買ったときはとてもインパクトがあったのだが、実用面という上ではちょっと使いにくいと思う。純粋に英語を勉強をしたいのであれば、本片手にＣＤプレイヤーでじっくり聴いたほうが分かり易いのではないか。
