映画音楽のアレンジものは、多々ありますが、フルオーケストラで聞かせてくれて久石譲さんのサウンドなのですからフアンならば、聞いて損はないと思います。ジャズ界の新星、歌手のレディキムも光ってます。
ところで９曲目のソーインラブは、どこかで聞いたことはないでしょうか。そう、日曜洋画劇場の旧エンディングテーマなのです。勿論使われたものではありませんが、中間部は、フルオーケストラのサウンドであのテーマを聞かせてくれます。
さて、なぜ表題のパリのアメリカ人が、あんなに短いのでしょうか？
よって、星は４つ半です。　ってないので星五つです。

何の予備知識もなく、このCDのことも知らず、
コール・ポーターの曲をホールで演るっていうんで出かけたコンサート。
このCDのためのコンサートだったんですね。
オーケストラで聴くジャズってすごくカッコいいのー。
久石氏の指揮も、オーケストラの演奏もエキサイティングで、
大人のムーディーなライブって感じで良かったです。
できれば、座席の決まっているホールでなくて、
ブルーノートみたいなとこで軽くグラスを傾けながら聴きたかった。
選曲もなかなかだし、名盤だと思いますよ。
（ただ、レディ・キムの歌は、あんまりパッとしませんね）
