ヨッフムの50代後半と60代半ばの頃の録音。快調なテンポで、ぐいぐいと押し込んでゆく。まことにカッコいい演奏だが、軽快というのとはちょっと違う。緩急、強弱の対比のつけ方がうまく、それがスケール感とロマンティシズムを生み出している。良かった。
