　本作は、ＣＤでリリースされている『ライヴ・オーガスト』の前日の東京エッグマンでのライヴを完全に収録したものである。要するに、解散前日のライヴ、解散ツアーラストの、エッグマン4Ｄａｙｓの3日目の映像ということである。以前はビデオ作品として、通販などの形で販売されていた（定価は10000円であった）。
　収録曲は、本作の翌日収録されたライヴ盤『ライヴ・オーガスト』と全く同じ、即ち以下のとおりである。

　本作は、元々は『1987.8.5+』というタイトルで、2枚組みで05年8月に発売される予定であった。「+」とは、ボーナスディスクに特典映像が収録されるはずだったのだが、複雑な権利関係により、ボーナスディスク部分は本作とは別に発売予定だそうである。

　そのようなわけで、「かつて発売されていたビデオ版の映像と音を磨いた物がDVDで再発される」と考えるのが、最も妥当な見方であろう。ビデオ版に関しては、臨場感は抜群でカメラワークも丁寧、音質的にも全く問題ないので、本作も十分に期待できると思う。『ライヴ・オーガスト』との価格差がほとんどないことを考えるならば、ローザに興味がある者には、絶対お勧めと言っても過言ではあるまい。ローザは音だけ十分勝負できるバンドであるが、視覚的なインパクトも非常に大きいのである。大いに期待したい。
