若干ですが、Sonata Arcticaに似ている気がします。
とにかく悶絶疾走曲多いので、メロスパーな人には堪らない作品だと思います。
ただ、Vo.の歌声に変化をつけて欲しいことと、もう少しサビがガツンとくる曲があったらSonataの１stを越えたやも知れません。

フィンランドのメロディックパワーメタルバンド、カーディアントの1st。どこを切ってもソナタアークティカフォロワーの彼らだが正直なところソナタ程よくはない。疾走感やソロは北欧ならではの綺麗さがあり、どことなくトラッド臭さも取り入れていてかなり良いが、メロの普通さやボーカル(やる気のないヨルン・ランデみたいな感じ)の普通さが目立ってしまって残念。もう少しハイシャウトがでるボーカルを探せたらかなりいい線いきそうなのだが…。曲でオススメは「Falconeye」(Helloweenの曲を北欧版にミックスした感じ)「Midday Moon」「Light'N'Smoke」「To Be」など。特に「Light'N'Smoke」はマジックキングダムの「The Iron Mask」とソナタアークティカの「Weballegy」を混ぜた感じの曲でかなりの名曲。とりあえずどこを切っても疾走だらけなので北欧メロパワファンなら買っても損はしないでしょう。今後に期待。

疾走感のある１曲目。いい感じです。ただ、全体的にくせがなく、それなりという感じで、メリハリがないのではまることはないと思います。北欧系がお好きな方には、まぁ、いいんじゃない？といったところです。聴いて感動することなく、がっかりすることもなく・・・無難といったところです。
