9枚目のシングルは、フジテレビ系アニメ『ハチミツとクローバー』のエンディング・テーマ曲。爽やかでしなやかな疾走系ギター・ポップは、『ハチクロ』の雰囲気にぴったり。メロディも輝いてる。初回のみ、羽海野チカ描き下ろしイラストのデカラベル仕様。

内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

2005年度一発目のシングルは、季節感たっぷりの楽曲に仕上がった。「ワルツ」というタイトルがすでに既得しているイメージを増幅させるメロディ展開と、詞に絡みつくようなストリングのアレンジがたまらない。彼のアーティスト・イメージとかけ離れた楽曲センスが、スネオヘアーの面白みの一つだが、個人的にはそのキャッチーさが、内的世界のシリアスさを増幅しているという点が奇跡的だと思う。自分を完全にセルフ・プロデュースできている数少ないアーティストであり、今年も目が離せない存在になりそうだ。 (冬葉蜜柑) --- 2005年06月号

この曲は、深夜に放送中のアニメ「ハチミツとクローバー」のエンディングテーマ曲になっています。
春から初夏にかけて、天気の良い日に、自転車などに乗り、風を感じながら聴きたいようなさわやかなナンバー。

スネオヘアー特有の独特のメロディーラインと、サビの部分の裏声など、歌声が心地よく感じられます。

この季節にぴったりな一枚です。

スネオヘアー名前だけ聞くと「ふざけたバンドかなにかでしょ？」と思うかもしれませんが実態は綺麗な歌声・天才とも思える作詞作曲・サラサラのキノコ頭・少し毒のある世界観をもつ一人の人間です。
この曲はご存知ハチクロのエンディングなんですが、見事にアニメの世界を数分に詰め込んだような曲です。
スネオヘアーはロックだったりポップだったりゆるかったり毒づいたりですがハチクロをイメージして作られたこの曲はあたたかいポップです。
アニメの終わり寸前のところでドラムが流れ溶け込みハチクロに最高のエンディングをもたらしアニメのために作っただけある曲です。

ハチミツとクローバーのEDとも合ってました。
名前はワルツですが４拍子の曲です。
