ブレードライガー、ライガーゼロに続くライオン型ゾイドですが、
ゾイドらしさは残しつつも、デザインが洗練されていてカッコイイです。
背のムラサメブレードも、パッと展開するのが良い感じですね。

組み立ても装甲類を付けるだけになり、組み易さは向上していますが、
その分の他箇所のコストダウンなのか、色分けがシール貼りになったのが残念です。

ボディと武器（ムラサメブレード）が半完成状態になっており、組み立てる部分は従来に比べて大幅に少なくなっています。
低年齢層への配慮だと思われますが、そのわりに組みにくい部分が結構あるのが気になりました。
特に、キャノピー部のパーツD1（頭頂部の青いところ）に説明書には無い突起があり、注意しないとクリアパーツを破損するかも知れません。

他にも、ムラサメブレードの刃が軟質樹脂製で曲がっていたり、全体的にディティールが少なく大味な印象なのが気になりました。（シールを貼らない状態だと密度感の無さとあいまって食玩のようです）

自分は改造および塗装するつもりなので良いのですが、そうでない方はちょっと物足りなく感じるかもしれません。

あ、でも顔はとてもハンサムで気に入ってますよ。

実物はパッケージだいぶ違うけど塗装するとパッケージのようになります。　　余計なシールは貼らないほうがいいと思います！
半完成の品なので塗装なども合わせて2時間くらいで出来ます。
ブレードライガーと並べて飾ると、とてもカッコいいのでこれは買わないと損です！！！！！！！！！！
