「ＹｅＬＬＯＷ　Ｇｅｎｅｒａｔｉｏｎ」
揺れ動く世代の象徴という意味合いがこめられているといることは
ＨＰ上で知っていましたがそれをねらったのかはわかりませんが
今回の作品は今までにないロックな感じに仕上がっています。

これが賛否両論あるとは思いますがＣＡＲＰＥ　ＤＩＥＭ
（カルペディエム、ラテン語で今、この瞬間を生きるという意味ですが）
のアルバムを発売した頃のイエジェネの曲そして彼女たちの詩の世界
からは良いか悪いかは別としてちょっとズレていってしまっている、
かけ離れていってしまっているような気もします。

もちろん揺れ動く世代という意味合いですからどちらに転んでも
おかしくはないのでしょうけど・・・

アーティスト名は「ＹｅＬＬＯＷ　Ｇｅｎｅｒａｔｉｏｎ」であっても
やっぱりあの彼女たちいわば独特の詩の世界からは揺れ動いてほしくは
なかったです。そういう意味でも次回作を期待したいですね。

余談になるかもしれませんがジャケットにバナナを使用しているのは
ただ「ＹｅＬＬＯＷ」というだけではなく皮がむけているのでここでもまた
新たなイエジェネを強調しているのでしょうか。

久しぶりに発売のイエジェネのシングル。
ノリのイイ曲なのでドライブにピタ~リだと思いまス。
そういうワケで「バラードは眠くなる~」というファンに
特にオススメ。
