ようやくDVD化されました。2002年に行ったクラシック・コンサートのDVDです。
ここでしか聞けない曲はX JAPANのTHE LAST SONGのオーケストラバージョン、Violet UKのScreaming blue、Blind Danceです。
Tears、ENDLESS RAINなどのEternal Melody Iに収録されている、懐かしの名曲も演奏されているので、存分に楽しめます♪

X japan解散以後、ようやくステージのYoshikiの姿を見れるだけでも感涙ものですが、もちろんそれだけでは終わりません。というか、Yoshikiが終わらせてくれません(笑)。

コンサートはXの超名曲Say Anythingから始まり、Globeや過去にプロデュースした曲が全てクラシックとして演奏されますが、その内にViolet UKのボーカルの女性が登場して歌を披露したり、突然オーケストラに打ち込みの音が混ざってきたり、ダンサーが登場したり、果てにはYoshikiがギターをぶっ壊したりと、およそクラシックのコンサートらしくないですが、とってもYoshikiらしくて楽しめます。

そして最後には、感極まったYoshikiが涙を流しながらピアノとオーケストラ、そして観客全員による合唱で、まるでそこがいつものあのステージのような錯覚と感動に包まれました。

忘れもしない・・・12月のコンサート、涙がこぼれた。あの日の記憶がこの作品である。Yoshikiさんは、苦難や多くの悲しみを越えて生まれた新しい音楽、時間を越えた数々のＸの音楽とともにステージに戻ってきた。あの日、彼の少し寂しげで、でも強く輝く笑顔がそこにあった。まだ、完成していないアルバムの曲を彼は待ち続けているファンのために、この二日、一生懸命聴かせてくれた。
もし、彼のことを待つことに意味を見出せなくなった人たちがいたら聴いてほしい。良いものは、人種も性別も国境もすべて時間さえも越えていく。完成に時間がどれだけ過ぎていくかということではない。
彼の作品は流行じゃない。終わらない彼の心が奏でる音楽は、彼がこの世に存在した証なのだから・・・
