5.0 out of 5 stars シンガーソングライター史に燦然と輝く名盤の1枚, 2005/4/23
いわゆるシンガーソングライターの数あるアルバムのなかでも名盤というに値するものです。押さえたボーカルとノーバートプットナムのプロデュースによるシンプルなナッシュビル録音のこのアルバムは全ての曲がひとつのカラーに見事に統一されて、時が経とうともその価値は色褪せることなく輝いているのです。個人的にはDavid Wiffen作のMore Often Than Notが一番好きなのですが、プットナムのベースにデイビットブロムハーグのドブロが絡む中、アンダースンの真摯なボーカルが絶妙な味を醸し出しており、まさに名曲です。ちなみに作者David Wiffen自身が歌うこの曲は、彼のソロアルバムでも聞けます。

表ジャケも裏ジャケも名盤ですよということを静かに、しかし力強く主張しているアルバム。
内容は本当にSSWのお手本のような内容であり、派手なところは一切ないが
正に心に染み込んでくる歌の集合体という感じです。
こういうアルバムがメジャーレーベルから発売され、しかもそれが受け入れられた
時代というものは、今よりよい時代だったと私的には思わざるを得ません。
紙ジャケになるのを心待ちにしていました。
値段も良心的で言うことなしのアルバム
