主人公と同じくらいの年齢です
オンエアされている時期に同じ病にかかり、病室の消灯時間を過ぎている時間帯でしたが、
個室である事で看護婦さんに了解を得て見ていました
主人公の淡々とした演技に共感し、細かい各演技者の気持ちの動きにも共感しました
命・家族・について考えさせられる本当にいいドラマでした

　あまりに重いテーマに戸惑い、ビデオに撮って一人で見続けました。拭っても拭ってもあふれる涙を止めることが出来なかった。全部見終わってから、家族みんなでもう一度見たいと思いました。あんなに泣いたのに、生きる力を貰いました。すばらしい脚本、そしてそれをみごとに表現した役者さん達、みんなで見ます。ありがとう。

自分のキャリアのために、まだ赤ん坊の娘と夫を捨て家を出た経験を持つ明日香（天海祐希）。
そんな彼女がある日突然末期のすい臓がんで余命2ヶ月を宣告される。
自分の死を目の前にしたとき、彼女は９歳になったはずの娘「歩」のことだけが気がかりだった。

美人で仕事もできてスタイルもいいけど、すっごく自分勝手でわがままな女と言われている明日香。だけど、彼女の周りの人たちがとってもとっても優しいから、みんな明日香が大好きだから、だから彼女がやっぱり素敵な人だったってことがすごく伝わってくる。
みんながすごく優しくて、だけど明日香の病気が治らないってことは変えられなくて、心温まるけどすごく切ない。
でも、もしも私も明日香と同じような状況になってしまったなら、明日香のようでいたいと、明日香みたいに素敵な人に囲まれていたいと、だから今も頑張って素敵な女性になるよう努力しようと心から思った。

タイトルの「娘と生きる最後の夏」って言う副題が、それだけで涙を誘う。
音楽も槇原敬之の主題歌、あと挿入歌ともに最高に良いです
