「OXO ミニチョッパー」は、使用頻度の高いにんにくやしょうが、ハーブ等のみじん切りの作業を楽にしてくれるチョッパーです。柔らかいノブを押すと刃の部分が回転し、均一に刻むことができます。作業の途中で目が痛くなったり、手ににおいがついてなかなか取れなかったりといった悩みから解放してくれます。また、底に装着されたフタをカップの上にかぶせると容器になるので、切った食材を一時的に保存することができます。カップの底は取り外しができるので、底をつけたままでも、はずして直接まな板の上においても、みじん切りをすることができます。分解できるので刃も取りはずせ、洗う際も簡単で、ノブを下げて固定すればコンパクトに収納できます。食器洗浄機不可。電子レンジ不可。漂白殺菌不可。

ニューヨーク生まれということばを真に受けたのですが、実はMADE IN CHINA。一体になっているスプーンもすぐにはずれてしまうし、保存用カップの蓋もイマイチ頼りなげです。
肝心の切れ味も全く期待はずれ。タマネギを1/6くらい切ってからチョッパーにかけたところ、薄皮が切れずに結局包丁でやり直し。使い方にまだなれていないからかもしれませんが、それにしてもこの値段はちょっと高すぎ。期待していただけにがっかりしてしまいました。Amazonで買い物をして、初めて後悔しました。

世界各国のデザイン賞を70以上も獲得したニューヨーク生まれのOXO(オクソー)は誰にでも使いやすいユニバーサルデザイン。
このチョッパーの特徴は、保存用カップとスプーンが一体となっているところ。
使い方は、カップの中にみじん切りにしたいナッツやハーブ、半切りの玉ネギ、ニンニクなどを入れてノブをガシャガシャ押すだけ！
あっというまにみじん切りが出来、しかも、このチョッパーの偉いところはカップキャップがついているので、みじん切りにした食材をそのまま保存できます。
カップのみの販売もしているので、カップをいくつかそろえれば料理のスピードも格段にアップ！離乳食の保存容器にもぴったり。
スプーンまでついていて、もう至れり尽くせりの逸品です。
