ポップでキュートでクレイジー。CDジャケット通りの音です。
全てにテクニックなどは一切感じさせませんが、味があるのです。

アーティスト達は無機質なもの（プラスティック）を狙っている
のでしょうが、とっても愛らしく、そして人間味があふれています。
プラスティック製のキューピー人形といったところでしょうか。

リスムボックとシンセベースを伴奏に、イイ歳した大人の男女が
ファルセットで大騒ぎしています。この辺りがちょっと酒に酔った
ような楽しさ、可笑しさを感じさせ、コケティッシュです。

バンド自体、それぞれ別に本業を持つメンバー達が、半ば趣味で
活動していたようですが、その遊び心が作品の楽しさ表れている
のでしょう。
デザイナーの忘年会の楽しい余興といった感じでしょうか。でも、
いつまでも酔い続けるわけにはいきません。伝説の忘年会でした。

もう、20年以上前に発売された品です（当時はレコード）。
当時はアイドル、ジャニーズの全盛時にありながら、そのセンスの良さは驚きでした。トーキングヘッズ等ともツアーしていたし、日本にも世界に通用するバンドにいるんだ~、と感心しました。
リズムボックス、シンセを基調としたデジタルサウンドは間違いなくテクノサウンドの火付け役でした。
