アルバム『数千の星』にある２曲目の「熱い風」が、何故に『ゴールデンベスト』に入らなかったかが理解できない。
楠瀬誠志郎の透明感のあるハイトーンヴォイス＆十八番の難易度高い多重コーラスアレンジができるアーティストは、『Off Course』か『山下達郎』くらいであろう。

2. 宝島-TREASURE ISLAND-、3. 〜Prologue〜冒険者たち、5. Crying In The Sunに楠瀬誠志郎の感性の原点が見いだせる。透明感のハイトーンヴォイス、聴いた後の心地良さには脱帽。２ndからの「トゥ・レ・ジュール」「バニラエッセンス」５thからの「永遠の約束」「風がめくる午後」は入れて欲しかった。「風がめくる午後」は楠瀬誠志郎と武部聡志の面目躍如たる傑作のバラードである。

楠瀬誠志郎のデビューから現在までにリリースされたアルバム・シングルから、人気の曲ばかりを収録。『ほっとけないよ』も捨てがたいが、『~Prologue~冒険者たち』や『季節がとうりすぎても』も最高。楠瀬さんの澄んだ歌声が満載の一枚でしょう。オススメは、郷ひろみさんもカヴァーした『僕がどんなに君を好きか,君は知らない』です。これを聴けば、たとえカセットやMDを持っていない初心者の方でも楠瀬さんの魅力に惚れるはずです。『水の帰郷』もいいですね。
