   ベイビー・ガリレオは幼いカンガルーのパペットだ。彼は空を仰いで天上の不思議を探し求め、太陽を、月を、雲を、星々を、そして9大惑星の1つ1つを発見していく。この30分間の作品は、天体の驚異をとらえた実写画像、宇宙関連のおもちゃで遊ぶ子どもたち、アニメーション、パペットといった映像を目まぐるしく切り替えながら進行。これらの映像のバックでは、モーツァルトの「アイネ・クライネ・ナハトムジーク」やドビュッシーの「月の光」を始めとするさまざまなクラシックの名曲が、本作オリジナルのオルゴール風アレンジとなって、主にシンセサイザーで演奏される。さらに、「きらきら星」などの有名な童謡もいくつか登場。五感を刺激するニクイ作りだ。DVD特典として、リピート再生機能、14の天体写真に音声および文字のタイトルが付いたディスカバリー・カード、パペット・ショーの抜粋、おもちゃの図解入りのおもちゃ箱、DVD-ROMぬり絵帳が用意されている。（対象年齢9ヶ月~4歳）（Tami Horiuchi, Amazon.com）

ベビーアインシュタインシリーズはもうだいぶ見てきましたが、今回のこのＤＶＤはかけはじめると１１ケ月の息子は画面にくぎづけで体をゆらしてたのしんでいます。おかげで朝の洗濯物を干す時間にはこれをみせておけばのんびりと洗濯物をほしたりできます。また夕方に２人で見るときは今度は星の名前を教えながら楽しみながら見ています。大人もたのしめるＤＶＤです。育児で疲れていてもしばしリラックスできます。

我が子の名前には宇宙に関係のある漢字がついているので、
これを見て素敵なイメージを持ってもらいたいと想い　予約購入しました。

今回のは言葉や歌があるので　日本語か英語に選べるＤＶＤの方にして正解！
英語も学べて得した気分
特典映像のディスカバリー・カードで印象にも残りやすく
音楽　芸術　科学　自然にふれ　親子で心豊かに楽しめます

なぜかこれは他のシリーズと違い、音楽がイマイチの気がします。他のシリーズは、心地よいか楽しい音楽と映像なのに、これはどちらでもなく、飽きてきてしまいました。音楽と映像が単調なのかな？子供もあまり見ませんでした。とても好きなシリーズだけに残念。期待大だったため、ちょっと厳しく★２つにしました。
