こんな風に、自身の誕生日にイベントライブを開催するという発想がユニークであると思います。
（実績として2004、2005も開催）

形式は２部構成で、第１部はGiza所属アーティストとの競演、第２部は愛内里菜ライヴ、となっています。

第１部は、「a*rina show」のセットに司会者付で、
CSで放送している同番組のような進行で進むのかと思ったら、
順順にゲストを迎えての競演ライブ。
ここでは、1980年代の洋楽ナンバーをカバーしていて、
Cool＆the Gang「Celebration」を黒人？MCの人と、
マドンナ「マテリアルガール」を上原あずみさんと、
ショッキングブルー「VENUS」を三枝夕夏さんと、などなど、
あと滴草由実さんと宇徳敬子さんとのセッション。
僕的には、三枝夕夏さんのパフォーマンスが良かったと思いました。

第2部は、お待ちかねの愛内里菜ライヴ。
「里菜祭り」のテーマとして作ったという「Over Shine」で幕を開け、
アンコールの「Ruby stars」「光色のかけら」は、
いつも応援してくれてるファンに対して伝え切れない自分の思いを曲にしたんだそうです。
このくだりの里菜さんの言葉を聞いて、
「やっぱり愛内里菜はそこいらの歌手とは一味も二味も違う！」
グッときました。

これは、観る人の視点によって、かなり評価の分かれる作品なのではいかと思います。
愛内里菜のどこを気に入り、愛内里菜に何を求めているか。
僕としては、誕生日を特別なイベントで、自分もファンも楽しめれていれば、それでOK！
それはなんて素敵な愛内里菜の「はからい」なのだと思うのですが・・・

このDVDに対する酷評意見がいくつかあったので、
もし楽しめなかったらどうしようと
不安を抱きつつ中古で購入しました。
僕は最近愛内さんのファンになったばかりなので、
愛内さんのライブ等に足を運んだ経験が無いのですが、
このDVDで十分愛内さんの魅力が堪能出来ました。
このDVDは二枚組なのですが、
disc-1ではgiza所属の女性歌手と共に
愛内さんが洋楽の曲を歌うという内容で、
普通のライブやCDなどではあまり味わえない部分であろう
愛内さんの魅力が垣間見られると共に、
それまで僕があまりよく知らなかった
giza所属女性歌手の顔見せ、歌見せが行われており、
これまでgiza系のCDを購入した経験が殆ど無かった
自分のような人間からすれば、
とても好印象の内容。
disc-2からは愛内さんのソロで、
愛内さんの衣装はとても可愛いし（もちろん愛内さん自身も）、
数十人のダンサーからなる演出は迫力があり、
そのダンサー達に負けないくらい愛内さんも動く、動く。
ダンサー１人１人、演奏者１人１人に配慮した構成は
アットホームそのもの。
アンコールの演出もとても面白かった。
（自分はライブを見る経験があまり無いので、
ひょっとしたらありがちな手法なのかも知れないけど）
アンコールのラストでdisc-1の出演者達と共に唄う
「光色のかけら」にはとても感動させられた。
愛内さんのみならず、他の歌手の魅力も楽しめる
（宇徳敬子さん　雰囲気が中森明菜っぽい、
滴草由美さん　最近売り出し中の「YUI」って歌手を
沖縄チックにしたような顔立ちでcool
上原あずみさん、三枝夕夏さん　可愛い、ってすまんそれだけで）
盛りだくさんの作品。数年前に発売されたDVDだけれど、
定価で買っても損を感じさせない内容ではないかと思う。

里菜祭りは第一部がA-RINA　SHOW　形式の上原あずみ、三枝夕夏などの豪華ゲストとともに、カバー曲を熱唱。これだけでも、ひとつライブとして楽しめる作品。

第二部が、OVER SHINEから始まる里菜祭り本編、ゲストのダンサーともに、迫力あるダンスをしつつ歌う姿は圧巻。すばらしいパフォーマンスを披露している。山車、神輿ありと、祭りにふさわしい内容。もちろん、MCで彼女のキュートな面を楽しめる。

最後の出演者全員で歌う光色のかけらは里菜ライブ史上最大規模。2枚組みなので、本編がカットされず収録されるはず。行った人もいけなかった人に楽しめるに違いない。
