娯楽作としての「さそり」シリーズ頂点です（シリアスな完成度は断然１作目）。
怪奇映画＋超サイケデリックなぶっ飛んだ世界。悲しい事情のある姉妹、片腕の
刑事、宇宙人の様なカラス女、下水溝にガソリンをまく警察・・・。
主人公の松島ナミ（さそり）はもはや死神のごとし。しかも美しい。

5.0 out of 5 stars もちろん芽衣子姉さんも最高だけど, 2004/11/8
梶姐から李・南原、主菜から副菜まで全てがこってりカロリーの高いプログラムピクチュアの傑作だが、その中でも名優・成田三樹夫にとどめを刺す。
生前、成田さんは「いいものは、言葉を拒絶するね」と語っておられたそうだが、この映画の中で彼が醸し出す空気を言い尽くす言葉を知らない。

しかも、この権藤も、そして権藤とは対極的に見える「バニー服部（探偵物語）」や「おじゃる公家」にあっても、奇天烈でやりすぎに見えていて、実はそのスパイスが主役を引き立て、世界観をまとめあげている。まさに、遠藤周作が昔言っていた、コーヒーにおけるクリープ。

成田三樹夫の刑事物といえば「工藤ちゃ~ん」しか浮かばないという人は、この映画を見ないまま死ぬと、地獄で未来永劫もったいないお化けに責め苛まれるであろう。

梶芽衣子の「さそり」シリーズでも、この「けもの部屋」が最高傑作だと思います。さそり流様式美の極地！徹底的なリアリティのなさ！脇役も全員みえ切りまくってて、はっきり言って笑っちゃいます。のっけからナミが成田三樹夫の腕を噛み切りそれをくわえたまま地下鉄乗ったりしてるし。そしてナミの好敵手、カラス部屋の女王・李礼仙がまた最高にイイ味出してます。
また、「都会の底辺」を描ききっていて、その描写も素晴らしいと思います。文字通りの地底、下水道までナミは追い込まれてしまうのですが、その時の水を滴らせた芽衣子姐の美しさ！もはやこの世のものとは思えない！
発売日が死ぬほど待ち遠しいです。
