90年代中盤に活躍したフロリダ出身のジャズロックグループ「Wyscan（ウィスカン）」のギタリストJonathan Kreisberg（ジョナサン・クライズバーグ）が1997年に発表したソロアルバムです。メンバーはVincent Verderame（ドラム）、Javier Carion（ベース）というトリオ構成。

前述の「Wyscan」は、そもそも後期Gongやブラフォードを意識したグループでしたが、もとよりジャズ志向だったクライズバーグがここでチャレンジしているのは、まさにアラン・ホールズワーススタイルのジャズフュージョン。トリオ構成ということから、ホールズワースの「IOU」のスタイルを強烈に意識したプレイが随所に聴かれます。特に1曲目「Tune For Tracy」で聴かれる流麗なソロと超絶な早弾きは、ホールズワースファンもかなり納得のいく素晴らしい内容です。ギタートーンはホールズワースほど柔らかくはなく、ややロック寄りのタッチ。またアームは使用していません。

ただ、まだ作風に対して迷いがあるのか、全体を通して聴くと正体不明の感がしないわけでもありません。次作以降、急速にスタンダート色を強めたのは、旗色を鮮明にしたという意味で賢明な選択だと思います。
