　名曲ぞろいの沙羅曼蛇シリーズが集まったアルバムですので、実際聴いた事がない人や、
ファミコンでしか知らない人には特にオススメできます。
　ただ、これでアルバム内容の価値が下がる訳ではありませんが、22と23の曲名が逆に
なっているのは、アレンジ前の同名曲が03にあるので気付いて欲しかった所です。
これは、1996年発売の沙羅曼蛇2のサントラ発売時からの誤りで、個人的な話ながらこの件で
メーカーに修正依頼の電話をかけた事があるのですがここでも直らなかったようです。
　スペシャルトラックのSE集は大変うれしいオマケで、現在においても
「沙羅曼蛇」＆「ライフフォース」が最も音声合成のすばらしいゲームと言う人が大勢いる
理由がわかると思います。

懐かしくていい感じです　昔やりこんだ人ならきっと満足いくと思います　それと・・パソコンで再生してみると思わぬ特典があるかもよ・・

聴いている人をぐいぐい引っ張っていく強さ。
口ずさみたくなるような良さではなく、頭の中で延々と鳴り続ける良さ。
どんなときでも、ひとたび聴けばゲームをやりたくなる。
沙羅曼蛇はIとIIしかありませんが、どちらにも当てはまるのはこんなところでしょうか。
とにかくカッコよく、アップテンポに、演奏されます。

私のなかでは、IIの「SENSATION」が一番好きです。

ちょっと欲を言えば、アレンジが２曲しかないことと、IIの未使用曲が収録されていていないこと。
「アーケードサウンドトラック」だと思えば納得できるんですが、聴いたことの無い人のためにぜひとも収録して欲しかった。

ですが、沙羅曼蛇の曲を聴くためにはこれを買うしかありません。
というか、二つとも10年以上前の曲なのに、いま、こうして売られているだけでも凄いと思いませんか？
