5.0 out of 5 stars ワルツの美しさを満喫できます, 2005/6/14
ショパンのワルツで久々に買ってよかったと思える演奏です。

今まではルービンシュタインをよく聴いていたのですが、全てに満足していた訳ではなく他のピアニストより良いというだけで、実際"Grande valse brillante"や"valse brillante"などはちょっと違うなぁと感じていました。(ルービンシュタインの演奏は大変素晴らしいのですが)
リパッティの演奏はコルトーともルービンシュタインとも違い、まさに必然の演奏に感じます。これほどいい意味で期待を裏切る演奏もそうそうあるものではないと思います。

音質を懸念される方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、私の場合は演奏に心奪われて気にしませんでした。それよりも音質を懸念してこの演奏を聴き逃す方が残念だと思います。稚拙な表現ですが映画は素晴らしいがモノクロ映画だという事を懸念しているのに近いと思います。

お薦めです。

夭折の天才詩人リパッティが、その晩年、白血病と闘いながら命を削る思いでレコーディングに取り組んだという伝説の名演です。噂にたがわぬ、気品あふれる感動的な演奏で、多少の録音の古さも、そのクリアーな音色と、純粋無垢な清潔でしゃれた演奏センスによって全く気になりません。「何も引かない、何も足さない完璧なショパンのワルツ」がここにはあります。コルトー、フランソワ、ルービンシュタイン、アシュケナージ、カツァリス、ヴァーシャリ等様々なピアニストの演奏を聴きましたが、古今東西のショパン・ワルツ集の決定盤と言ってもさしつかえ無いでしょう。

正直録音が1950年だけあって録音状態はわるく、いくらリマスターが発達したからといって音質の点では正直がっかりという感はいなめません。しかし、リパッティのかもし出す情感はひしひしと伝わってきます。強弱、ための使い方がすごく効果的で、本当にジーンときます。お勧めです。

きらきら感はするのだけれど、古い録音であまりに音が悪く、僕個人としては、新しくショパンのワルツを買う人にはお勧めできない。サンソン・フランソワで十分良いと思う。
