フォーシーズンズ（含む再結成作品）とフランキー・ヴァリのソロで大きなヒットとなった作品のほぼ全てを一枚でカバーした徳用品。デビュー当時に連発した「シェリー」等の大ヒット、再結成して放ったノスタルジーあふれる「ディセンバー１９６３」、「君の瞳に恋してる」「グリース」といったヴァリのヒット、いずれもこれぞアメリカン・ポップといった趣があります。そして、何といっても曲自体が良い。初期の作品は、今聞くとアレンジは古さを隠せませんが、曲の良さがそれを補って余りある作品です。
フォー・シーズンズやフランキー・ヴァリのヒットを聴きたい、ただし何枚もＣＤを買うほどではないといった人には、まさにピッタリの一枚。

ヒット曲だけって考えれば、確かに。
全米９位まではグループ、ソロ共に網羅してます♪細かく言えば、10位「Save It Fo Me」はあるが、同じく10位「Tell It To The Rain」はないです☆
…更に言えば、全英７位の「The Night」、３位の「Silver Star」といったイギリスヒットは網羅せずです。

シーズンズは、アルバム内に「シングル予定だったが見送った」って曲が良くあるから、このベスト盤を気に入った方は、更に広げていく価値はあると思います♪
「Sherry」みたいな曲も「Dawn」みたいな曲も「December, 1963(Oh, What A Night)」みたいな曲も、まだまだありますよ(^o^)

しかし、、、表紙が気になるんだよなー（笑）。いかにも古い白人ドゥワップみたいで。トホホ。
いつか再評価されることを願いつつ。
