数年ぶりの復活という事で、ファンにとってはまさに朗報でした。
だからこそ期待が大きかった分、違和感も大きく感じたのかもしれません。
まず残念だったのは名物課長の中条静夫さんです。
こればかりは仕方の無い事ですが、本当に惜しい人を無くしたと思います。
あぶ刑事の顔といっても過言ではありませんでしたから・・・。

そして新キャラの小林稔侍、関口智弘の2人。
どうしても後から参加した為に受け入れがたいものを感じてしまいました。
特に関口智弘の存在意義というか、本当に必要なキャラだったのか未だに納得できません。
確かに新しい風をという事ではその通りかもしれませんが、あまりにも違和感があり

その為に先輩役である町田まで連鎖的にキャラが大きく変わってしまいました。
この試み、失敗だとは思いませんが私のように受け入れられないファンも多かったと思います。
ストーリー的には相変わらずのドタバタ劇で面白かったのですが、最後にちょっと無理があったかも。
途中までの展開は面白かったので、もう少し考えて欲しい部分もありました。

映像的には最近の横浜、特に「みなとみらい21」が出てきておりちょっと嬉しかったです。

　７年ぶりの復活！「待ってました！！」と叫んだことを覚えています。
　今回の敵はカルト集団。敵がどんなに大きくとも、タカとユージは例のごとく、「あぶ刑事最大の魅力である小ネタやアドリブ」を交えながら軽快に事件を解決へと導きます。映画版特有の無理のある設定・衣装やパトカー（イタリア車）もみんな笑ってしまいましょう！　あぶ刑事には「悲壮感が無い」（BY舘ひろしさん）のですから！
　また、あぶ刑事を見たことのない人や、横浜を知らない人にも気を遣ったつくりにも好感が持てます。（ドラマ時代からのあぶ刑事の大ファンにとっては、あまり必要ないかもしれませんが...）
　特典映像も見逃せません！！

ブレーメンのアジトに単身で乗り込むタカと勇次の姿は、いつ見てもかっこよすぎる。刑事が銀行強盗まがいの行動をするシーンでタカと勇次が見せるアドリブは最高！このシーンだけでも一見の価値あり。それにしても、町田刑事が女の紹介と聞いてピストルを調達しに行くところなど、余りにも短絡的ワンパターンと思えない場所がなくはないが、それを割り引いても余りある面白さ。
ミサイル攻撃とは設定もエスカレートしたものだと思う。
関口智弘がいい味出してるのに次の作品に出なかったのはなぜだろう？

冒頭の夜の空撮に、大野雄二のジャズがかぶる!これが松田優作の遊戯シリーズの新作だったら…。監督の村川透にもそんな想いがあったのかも?この冒頭に星5つです。
