80年代中盤のチャートを荒らしまくった(?)おニャン子クラブの15年ぶり再結成曲。Hな言葉でハラハラさせられると期待していたら、意外にもカマトト路線で、80年代どころか70年代の歌謡曲っぽい。ただし、若々しい歌声とクセのないユニゾンは昔と変わらないので感心した。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

ワオ! 話題のおニャン子再結成シングルが登場。平成14年にもなって、渡辺満里奈も工藤静香もいなくて、果たして……!~ と思ったら杞憂でした。タイトル曲は意外にも(失礼)サイコー。ベースぶりぶりのアップ・テンポ・ナンバーは、後藤次利ではなく、藤井フミヤの曲で知られる増本直樹によるもの。とにかく声が若い! とくにゆうゆ。CoCoにおける三浦理恵子的マジックを感じる。ソロの挿入方法とバランス、Bメロのハモリぶりもグー。うしろ指さされ組~リボン初期の後藤仕事の雰囲気。歌詞は相変わらずの秋元康ですが。 (上田健二) --- 2002年12月号

8月25日に1日限りの再結成・レコーディングを行ったおニャン子クラブの、解散から15年ぶりの新曲となるシングル。86年春のツアーに出演したメンバーのうち14人が参加した。作詞は、おニャン子クラブの仕掛人であり全シングル曲の作詞を手がけた秋元康氏。「う~わ~っ！」の掛け声で始まる「ショーミキゲン」は、過ぎ去った青春時代を懐かしみながらも今を精一杯生きていこうと歌い上げるポップな曲で、おニャン子クラブ特有の通俗的なメロディと意味深長な歌詞が耳を離れない。「同級生」は、再会を果たした旧友たちのしんみりとした切ないナンバー。いずれの曲もおニャン子クラブのテイストに満ちており、控えめな中にも彼女たちの誇りが感じられる佳曲に仕上がっている。

やっと、今日ＣＤ買ったのですが、やっぱいいですね。何年たっても、
何度聞いても、抜群の歌唱力ですね。
３，４、にカラオケもはいって良かったです。
