当時気鋭のアーティスト達がこぞって渾身の作品を提供し、
独特の美声と歌唱でそれを歌いきった薬師丸ひろ子の名曲が
網羅された逸品です。

現在３０歳代後半〜４０歳代の方にとっては、青春の節目に
彼女のいずれかの曲が何らかの影響を与えたことがあったの
ではないでしょうか・・・

筆者的には、「あなたを・もっと・知りたくて」です。
大学１年の夏休みに居酒屋バイトをしていた時に、よくかかって、
しかも歌詞が当時の心に非常に響いたのを覚えています。
ＮＴＴのＣＭソングでしたが、携帯電話が当たり前の今となって
は、この情景も味わえないですし、今の世代の方には想像できない
心象風景でしょうねぇ・・・

とまれ、アイドル歌謡ではない、薬師丸ひろ子というアーティスト
の作品であり、独特な芸術作品だと思います。現在はいぶし銀の
女優さんになっていますが、こんなステキな歌を歌っていたことを
いろんな人に思い出してもらいたいと思います。

私の大好きだった曲がすべて入っていました。

「探偵物語」、「Ｗｏｍａｎ”Ｗの悲劇”より」など・・・。
「１００粒の涙」は、悲しかった時に何回も繰り返し聴いたことを思い出しました。

最後の「Ａ　ＬＯＶＥＲ’Ｓ　ＣＯＮＣＥＲＴＯ」は、歌詞の内容が
希望に満ちていてとてもよかったです。

最近はこういう透明感がある歌声ってあまり聴かないので今聴くと逆に斬新に聴こえる。
バックを固めるは来生たかお、松本隆、大瀧詠一、松任谷正隆、筒美京平、井上陽水といった大物作家陣。
近年と当時ではアイドルへの楽曲提供の力の入れ方があまりに違うのか。

個人的には大瀧詠一作曲の「探偵物語」なんか好き。
ちょっと影があるけど、よく聴くとやっぱりナイアガラサウンドっぽくて、薬師丸ひろ子の澄んだ歌声と相性が良いと感じる。
「ステキな恋の忘れ方」も井上陽水らしい都会的なアンニュイな感じが良い。

以前別のベスト盤を買ったらなんとセーラー服と機関銃が収録されていなかったけれど、このCDにはしっかり収録されていて良かった。
音もマスタリングされているので各パートの音の輪郭がクリアになっていて良い。
