フィルアップチャーチ本人が最高傑作と自負する作品です.選曲は非常に多彩で,ナットアダレイの1や,スティーリーダンの2,ガットを使ったフラメンコの香りの強い3,ジョージベンソン的なアレンジの5,トラディショナルブルース,ジャズスタンダードをソロ演奏で行っている10,12等.
総じて非常に技術レベルが高く,またアドリブソロはかなりブルージーです.そのためか少しばかり単調な雰囲気になっているともいえます.
