SFC版からのリメイク。
ボタン一つで小説をスクロールさせて読みながら、
ところどころで出てくる選択肢を選んで主人公の行動を決定していく。
実際に存在するペンション内を実写で取り込み、人物はシルエットで表現されている。
この演出が他のゲームではあまり見られない独特なものなので印象深い。

フローチャートが追加されているので、すでに選んだ選択肢がわかり、
すべてのストーリーを見るのに苦労はしないだろう。

サウンドノベルは複雑なものではないので、それだけグラフィックや音楽などの
ストーリーとは別の部分のクオリティの高さも重要になってくる。
その点でもこれは十分満足させてくれる作品だった。

おなじみのテーマソング、実写の雪山のペンション、タイトルの血文字、
どれが欠けてもかまいたちの夜は不完全なものになってしまうだろう。

やはりかまいたちの夜は1作目が一番いい!
PSソフトになって更に見やすく、プレイしやすくなった。
SFC版と違いデータが消える心配が無いのでじっくり隅々まで、サスペンスやホラー、ギャグ編を楽しむことが出来る。

ただ残念なのは、今日子さんの不味い料理を食べた時に流れる音楽(曲名:不快)が変わってしまっていること。
あれは名曲だから変えたらいかんに決まっとる!
あと、SFC版で絶妙だった効果音と文章のタイミングがPS版では少々遅れたりしていて残念・・・。
深夜に真理が自分の部屋からいなくなったシーンの、扉が開いている!ってところとか、デドーって効果音の遅れとか。
SFC版はかなりやり込んでいたので気になって仕方なかった。

他は文句なしです☆
興味もたれた方は是非プレイしてみて下さい。

話の内容としてはSF版とほぼ一緒。若干シナリオが追加されてますがSF版をすでにプレイ済みの方には強くおすすめはしません。SF版未プレイの方にはぜひやってもらいたい！！自分が初めてプレイしたノベルゲームですが、以降すっかりノベルにはまってしまいました。内容はシンプルな連続殺人事件です。密室に閉じ込められた中で犯人が分からない中、お互い疑心暗鬼となりながらもいかに犠牲者を少なく犯人を見つけ出せるか。シナリオ全体をまとめて感想を述べると・・怖いです。文章に合わせた背景のグラフィックと音楽は見事にプレイヤーの恐怖感を煽ります。ホラー映画プラス謎解きの要素がうまくマッチされていて、自分的にはバッドエンドも一つのシナリオとして受け入れられました。PS版でフローチャート機能が追加されてるので、SF版での選択肢を片っ端から組み合わせる拷問のような作業からは解放されています。結論、全体的に面白い！！おすすめです。
