　アーケード版グラディウスI~IVの全４タイトルのＢＧＭがすべて詰まったお得な２枚組。さらに、すばらしいアレンジが７曲もはいっています。ライナーにはコンシューマーとアーケードの両方の発売日を網羅した「グラディウス年表」がついています。グラディウスシリーズの曲は、よくテレビで使用されたりする名曲ぞろいなので、ファンの方はもちろんゲームミュージックは初めてという方も是非聞いてみてください。

初代グラディウスから最新のグラディウスIVまでの音楽を全て収録するほか、プレイステーションや
サターン版のデラックスパックのオープニング、プレステ２の３・４のオープニングなど、まさに内容
は最強です！
沙羅曼蛇やライフフォースなどは収録されていないので、そちらを聴きたい人は、沙羅曼蛇again
を探すのが良いでしょう。

グラディウスを昔やったことのある人は買って損はしないと思います！
矩形波倶楽部好きにもお勧め(^^

グラディウスI〜IVの曲に加え、グラディウスデラックスパックの曲、グラディウスIII＆IV復活の神話の曲、シリーズのアレンジ曲が合わせて94曲も収録されています。

数年前の話なのですが、このサントラを買ってグラディウスIとIIの曲を聴いたときに、あまりの素晴らしさに時間を忘れて何度も聞いたものです。
「20年以上前の、家庭にはファミコンしかなかった時代に、これだけの音を出すゲームがあったとは！」
実はそのときアーケード版の曲を聴くのは初めてだったのです。グラディウスIとIIはファミコン版しかやったことがなかったのです。
（もちろんファミコン版もファミコンの良さを引き出していて、素晴らしい出来です）
その後、本編のゲームがやりたくて、グラディウスデラックスパックを探し続けてようやく買ったものです。

ですからアーケード版を聴いたことの無い人にもオススメできると思います。

アレンジ曲もかなり気合が入っていて、グラディウスというものが、ゲームミュージックではすごく大きな存在だったと感じさせてくれる曲に仕上がっています。
