1984年発表されたIRON MAIDEN通算5作目の「Powerslave」
１曲目の「ACES HIGH」はIRON MAIDENの名曲中の名曲、２曲目の「2Minutes to Midnight」はIRON MAIDENのＬＩＶＥの定番曲、３曲目の「Losfer Words」はIRON MAIDENで数少ないインスト曲、８曲目の「Rime of the Ancient Mariner」は１４分に渡る大曲など名曲揃いの名盤です。
バランスのとれた聴きやすいアルバムになっている。
