パンクやヘビーメタルがお好きな方には勧めませんが、
ポップス好きな方なら必聴のユニット、それがキリンジ。
彼らのメジャーデビューアルバムです。

時を経て聴いてみると、メロディーも音色も泰行さんのボーカルも、
何もかも初々しくスウィートで朗らかな、なんて愛しい愛しい曲たち。

よく晴れた休日の朝、風に揺れる洗濯物を眺めながら。
あるいは昼下がり、青空に浮かぶ雲を追いかけてドライブしながら。

この音楽はわたしをとても幸せにする。

文学的なんて評されることの多い彼らの（特に兄）の歌詞ですが、最初は、漢字満載の硬質な歌詞に、んっふっふ青いなあ「にやり」なんてしてました。聴いてみて..........馬鹿でした。大負けに負けました。泣きました。
誰にでも共感できそうで、しかしぎりぎりでリスナーを突き放すような絶妙な”独白”感。リアルで胸がつまります。「文語は歌に合わない」何て考えを持っていたのですが、この一枚で見事に覆されました。今まで自分がそれに見合ったメロディーに出会っていなかっただけなのかなあ。（なんか偉そうですが....）
そんな流暢で圧倒的なメロディーラインに星７つ。歌詞に同じく星７つ。個人的にはキリンジ中級者になってから聴いていただきたいです。ちょっと聴きでは大人しいので、ああさわやかだな、で流されたら余りにも勿体無い......傑作！
ついでに脊髄　駆け抜けてく悲しみを　たやすく追い抜いてく君は誰だ　に星7つ☆

こんなにも名曲満載のファーストアルバムは過去に例がありません。日本語のポップスのグレードをグーンと上げた、歴史的にして世界的な究極の名盤。中毒性がハンパないっす。でも廃盤なのでしょうか?ワーナー暫定名盤セレクションとかいってたのに・・・。キリンジのアルバムは全て市場に残すべきです。
