スキッド・ロウのセカンド・アルバムで確かアメリカのチャートで初登場1位を取ったアルバムだったと思います．

ファースト・アルバムよりも全体的にハード＆へヴィな曲が目立ちます．正直なところとても良い曲と通常の曲が混在していて、全てが良いとまでは言えませんが、その代わり超名曲「クイックサンド・ジーザス」などが含まれており、ロックしている曲に加えてバラードも良い曲があります．

しかし他のどんな要素よりも強調したいのがセバスチャン・バックのヴォーカルで、これほど魂こめて歌っているヴォーカルはほとんどいないでしょう．メロディ自体も良いですが、やはりこのヴォーカルがあってこそスキッド・ロウだと思います．

リリース当時、HR/HM全く駄目な友人に聴かせたら、モンキー・ビジネスの2小節までは「これなら聴けそう」とか言ってたのに、その後バズの雄たけびになったら「やっぱダメだ~」と止められたのを思い出しました。（笑い）インパクト強すぎたみたいっす。ホント、バズの声って惚れ惚れするのにね。この曲から次のスレイブ~へとたたみかける様に進むあたり絶品です！５のサイコ・ラブは個人的には一番頭振れます。ガンガンいける曲が目白押しなのですが、今作の目玉は要所にバランスよく配されているバラードでしょう。４のクイック~はライブでも良く演奏されていました。逆に９のイン・ア~はスキッズのライブではあんまり・・でしたがバズは大好きな曲だそうで彼のDVD(ForeverWild)にライブ収録されてますよ。そして私の大好きな12のWasted~。淡々と歌う声と中盤以降のスクリーミングの対比。いったいどこで息継ぎしてるんだ~？の最後には感嘆のため息です。このバンドはスネイク＆レイチェルのソングライティングの才能もそうだけど、やっぱりバズのボーカルがあってこそですよ！ロック・スターのカリスマとルックス、パワフルだけど伸びのある声、私の永遠のスターです。　　　　　　　　　　　暴れん坊将軍だけどね(*^_^*)

1stのI REMAMBER YOUでファンになり、迷わず2nd、3rdと購入したが、3rdが一番メタルかと思いきや、実はこの2ndが一番へヴィーでセバスチャン・バックの歌唱力を存分に活かし切れている名盤だと思う。
1Monkey Businessのギターイントロからしてメタル魂こもっているが、そこからVo.につながっていき、シャウトで完全にヤラれてしまう。ノリの良い速い曲とへヴィーなバラードで構成されていて、特にバラードは文句なしに良い。こんな歌い方、今だって誰にも真似できないと思う。4Quicksand Jesus、9In a Darkened Room、12Wasted Timeなど、思わず引き込まれてしまう名曲ばかりである。もちろん今聴いても全然いけてる。
