私はこの曲がとても好き！なんだか、小さいころの純粋で、素直な気持ちになりました。多分それは香取慎吾くんの大きな体の中にある子供っぽさと、原由子さんのいつまでもかわいらしいあの声が妙にマッチしているからなんでしょうね。そして桑田佳祐さんの作詞・作曲。なんだか迷いがあったり、足踏みしてるときに聞くとほんのちょっぴり（それはもう本当にちょっぴり）勇気が出てくる曲だと思います。

ジャケットに出ているあみぐるみにひかれて買った人も多い一枚だと思います。

作詞作曲は桑田さん、ボーカルは原由子さんとＳＭＡＰの香取君と言う豪華コンビです。もとは中居君の番組のラストで使われた曲でもありますが、リリース当時神戸の事件に代表されるように子供が犠牲になる事件が多かったこともあります。

桑田佳祐＝１０人が１０人助平といいますが、この曲は２児の父親としての願いもこめられた１曲です。
