このアルバム、昭和のアニソン好きはもちろんのこと、普通のHR/HMファンも大いに楽しめる逸品。

それは、『ただストレートにカバーしてるだけじゃない!』という点にある。
HR/HMの名曲が、いたるところに散りばめられているのだ。
この1stだけでも
Deep purple『Burn』
Led zeppelin『Communication breakdown』
Rainbow『Since you been gone』
等々が、主に曲間からイントロにかけて流れてくる。その繋ぎがまた文句なしにカッコいい。

屍已蛇のフライングVから紡ぎ出されるギター・ソロには、マイケル・シェンカー的哀愁メロディ。Masakiは全編に渡って『和製ビリー・シーン』と言える超絶ベース・プレイを披露。ドラムもバスドラ連発を自在に操り、メロディアスだ。
そして、坂本英三。『ジャパメタ』を体現するそのシャウトには脱帽だ。素晴らしい。本当に素晴らしいバンド、そして楽曲。
買いなさい。

　途中ヴォーカルにやや疲れが見えるとはいえ、最後までよく歌いきっていると思う。アニメとメタルの融合というテーマのみに注目が集まったと思うが、原曲のツボをきっちり押さえてメタルの形式に封じ込めた各メンバーの力量もこのアルバムの成功に大きく貢献している。ヘッドホンステレオ、または普通のロック・ポピュラー向けのステレオ（つまりは普通の電気屋さんで売っているミニコンポなど）でどうぞ。

Vo.は、元ANTHEM〜練馬マッチョマンの坂本英三、Gu.に、元Gargoyle〜VolcanoのSHE-JAが所属するアニメタルの1st。それぞれのメンバーの凄まじいテクニックや、泣きのフレーズ満載のアレンジは聞き応え充分。又、楽曲のセレクトも未だマニアック過ぎないと言う点でも聞き易い。当時、アニパンク、アニユーロ、アニテクノ、刑事メタル、ナツメタル、メタルフォーク(これにはKatsuji氏が参加しているが)等、アニメタルの成功にあやかろうと凄まじい数のフォロワーを生んだ名盤。
