東京パフォーマンスドール→EAST END X YURIを経て、96年のソロアルバム「JOYHOLIC」後の1997年にひっそり発表されていた4曲入りミニアルバム。マキシシングルとも取れるが、全4曲の流れが、一貫した雰囲気でまとめられているので、ミニアルバムと取ったほうが良いだろう。

現ポラリスの大谷祐介が2曲でプロデュース、作曲を手掛けており、残りの2曲はナチュラル・カラミティこと森俊二が担当。4曲ともミディアムナンバーでアナログ感がたっぷり。タイトルどおり手作りの温かい家具を思わせるサウンドだ。歌詞は全て、市井自身が作詞し、肩肘を張らないごく日常的な言葉が並び、サウンドと歌詞が、優しく寄り添っている。

できることならば、この路線でもう一枚フルアルバムを出してほしいところだが、時を経た今、再度この感じを出すのは難しいかもしれない。これも瞬間を切り取った作品と言えるのかもしれない。
