暖かくて厳しい、そして愛があふれている。
そんな作品集です。
僕はとても心打たれました。
沢山の人に見てほしい。
「木を植えた男」話自体すごく良い話です。
一人の人間がまるで神様のように思える。
人間のすばらしさ生きることの意味を考えさせられる。
個人的には「イリュージョン」が好きです。
絵がかわいらしく、現代社会や機械文明への非難、

自然への愛、人間のすばらしさや汚らしさ。
いろいろなことを考えさせられます。
特に今の日本のように機械やシステムの社会の中に生きる
僕のような人達にフレデリック・バックの作品は強烈な
メッセージで訴えかけてくる。

　上質な、大人のためのおとぎ話。商業主義の日本にあっては決してできない企画かと思う。一つの作品に、ほとんど一人で、納得の行くまで作りこむこの作品群には、職人の魂の対話に触れる思いがする。

　決してセンセーショナルに扱われることはないが、まさに歴史に残る名作。そのテーマも、技術も、余人の追随を許さない。「エコロジー」「現代人の失った自然への畏敬の念」などの言葉でかたずけられない、気品があるのです。
　見る人に、勇気と、人生を振り返るひとときをくれる一本。

この作品群は生きるということの本質をわれわれに教えてくれます。
ふと、何か心に穴があいたとき、見ることによってその穴をふさぐ方法をきっと教えてくれることでしょう。
