青春とかチョット馬鹿馬鹿しいって思わないで下さい。これ、カナリ感動します。アニメだからって、馬鹿にしないで下さい。これ、本当に素晴らしいです！最後、気付けばチームを応援して熱くなります！そして、泣けます！
最近泣いてナイ人、泣きたい人、頑張りたい人、変わりたい人、試練を抱えてる人・・・これはホントにオススメです！

野球が好きな人も、そうじゃナイ人も、是非これを観て感動して下さい。キット、観てからの視野も変わります。

この作品を見るたびに人間が努力する事の素晴らしさ、謙虚でいることの大切さをひしひしと感じます。谷口キャプテンは日本人、ひいては人間の良心です。

野球アニメの最高傑作です。
野球を通して、努力・根性・友情と、この３つを強く訴えている作品だと思います。
野球アニメはたくさんありますが、これほど自然で、僕ら生身の人間に近い存在の主人公、そして仲間たち・・・谷口君率いる墨谷２中を、自分の仲間を応援するように、心から熱く応援してしまいます。

とんでもない最強打者が居るわけでもない、剛速球投手が居るわけでもない、そんな、どこにでもあるような普通の中学校野球部の挑戦！
感動のラストシーンは、目頭を熱くします。
皆さんに見てもらいたい作品です。特に野球少年たちには・・・ぜひ・・・。
