チェキッ娘本体として過去にリリースされたシングルをまとめたセットだ。従ってコアではないファンなら、より多く選曲されたより安いベストアルバムを選択した方が無難だろう。明らかに、コレクターとしての意味合いが強いセットとなっている。

しかし、こうしてみるとチェキッ娘は人気以上なバラエティーさを楽曲にも発揮させていたというのが頷ける。

・新たなチェキッ娘のスタートを予感させる河村隆一提供曲「抱きしめて」
・浜崎仕掛け人ＤＡＩ提供の春の柔らかさと下川卒業を閉じ込めた「はじまり」
・背伸びした大人な雰囲気のあるスピードナンバー「ハダカになりたい」
・可愛さが売りだったユニットのはじけんばかりのチューン「ピンクのチェリー」
・チェキッ娘の上昇気流を曲に閉じ込めた「最初のキモチ」
・ちゃっきりの新たな一面を覗かせた哀愁ある南国風マイナー調ナンバー「アニマルサマー」
・番組内結成の凸凹コンビの稀なソング「ありがと・愛してる」
・夏の開放感を躍動感を閉じ込めたパワフルナンバー「海へ行こう」
・修行という番組企画で誕生した異色のユニット「あたしのあたし」
・こうなったら何でもありだ。というノリの吹っ切れナンバー「ドタバタギャングの日曜日」

・解散の感情を歌に閉じ込め、またファンへの感謝のメッセージも含んだラストナンバー「ありがとう」
・終わりにして初心忘れるべからずというメッセージを含ませていたであろうリミックスバージョン「はじまり」

ひとつひとつの曲にコメントが付けられるほどに実に個性があった曲が多かった。
