矢沢　永吉氏の著書「成り上がり」を読めば解ると思いますが、今すぐにでも解散してしまいたいメンバーに対して、ソロ活動に向け少しでも自分の価値を高めたい矢沢　永吉の気迫・執念みたいなのも伝わる鬼気迫るライブアルバムです。　ファンキー・モンキー・ベイビー、憎いあの娘と軽快なロックナンバーでいきなりハイテンションに突入、普通のバンドだったらファンキー・モンキー・ベイビーはアンコールに取って置く処でしょうけど1曲目からとは驚きです。そしてオリジナル曲を抑えてあえてカバー曲を数曲入れているところは客を煽るというか乗せる為ダンスホールで繰り返し演奏したであろうスタンダードナンバーを演奏納めと言わんばかりにプレイしている姿、　ファンキー・モンキー・ベイビーをもう一度プレイして盛り上げる姿、最後にラストチャンスを持ってくる矢沢　永吉の決意表明みたいな物をこのアルバムで感じて頂ければと思います。　出来ればデジタルリマスターで聴きたいです

　日本で一番過小評価されているバンドの一つです。英語、日本語のちゃんぽん（？）やヤンキー（？）といったイメージを捨てて聞いて見て下さい！
　特にこのライブは最高のひとことです！永ちゃん、ジョニ―はもちろん、ウッチャンのリードギターときたら・・・、日本で最高のR&Rギタリストですよ！曲、テンション、演奏ともすべてが最高です。

荒くれたロックンロールを期待すると堅すぎ＆大人しすぎて肩透かしを食うスタジオ盤に比べ、
スピード、テンションを増した演奏と歌は、これぞバンド本来の姿とよぶに相応しい。
観客もそれに答え（答えすぎ！）、叫び、踊りまくる光景が容易に浮かび上がってくる。
リブヤングのように、致命的な音の悪さでもないし、アイドル乗りの歓声で

埋め尽くされる事もない（所詮テレビ企画だから仕方ないけど）。
初期の日本ロックライブ盤代表の一つとしてこれを挙げなければ絶対嘘。
