セリーヌ・ディオンさんのアルバムは、これが２枚目です。

このアルバムは車の中で聴いていたのですが、最初はとても心地よくて、優しくて、助手席で聴いているととても眠くなりました。

セリーヌさんの母国語であるフランス語の歌は、すぐにわかりました。
スペイン語の曲もあり、すごいなぁと思って聴いていたのですが、３回目にこのアルバムを聴いていて「あれっ」と思ったのです。今のは日本語っぽかったと・・・。
そしてよく聴いてみると、その歌は日本語だったのです。「ＢＥ　ＴＨＥ　ＭＡＮ」という曲です。
なぜ、２回も聴いていて気づかなかったのか不思議なくらい、とても、きれいではっきりした日本語で歌っていらっしゃるのです。
それがわかったとたん、思わず涙が出てきました。とても感動したのです。
歌詞もとても素敵でした。

このアルバムは、星５つでは足りません。少なくとも私にとっては・・・。
本当に素晴らしいです。

このアルバムの選曲の好みは、人それぞれだと思います。ただ英語あり、フランス語あり、スペイン語あり、そして日本語あり！それだけでもすごいです。セリーヌは日本語で歌うのも上手！この日本語のBE THE MANを聞いていて、一瞬「あれ？テレサ･テン？？」と思ったのは私だけでしょうか。なんとなく発音のクセみたいなのが似ているなと思いました。８曲目の「愛をふたたび」は何度聞いてもいい曲だなーと思います！その他このアルバムには、Barbra Streisandとのデュエット曲「TELL HIM」をはじめ、他のアーティストとのデュエットソングも数曲入っています。以前セリーヌは「バーバラは、私の歌声に欠けているものすべてを持っている。彼女は私のヒーローだ」と言っていましたが、デュエットを改めて聞いてみて・・・セリーヌの方が絶対うまい！と思ってしまうのは私だけでしょうか？？
