歌が太い。それは例えば、録音で音が厚くなっているのも関係しているのだろうけど、曲の構成と、そしてリアムギャラガーの歌声に、重厚な存在感が増した。そのぶん軽やかさは減ったけれど、こういうオアシスもありでしょう、強そうな感じがしていいです。

表題曲の「D'You Know What I Mean?」は3rdアルバムの先行シングルであり、シングルとしては異例の部類に入る7分22秒に及ぶ大作。
とはいえ複雑なアレンジを組み合わせた曲という訳ではなく、同じフレーズの繰り返しと少々長い間奏によって長くなっているだけではあるのだが、この時期のoasisを象徴するバブルなアレンジの一つである。
そのあまりの長さ故に、ラジオ等ではB面の「Stay Young」が流されることも少なくなかったというトホホなエピソードを持つ．．．。
ただし、曲自体は素直にかっこいいと思うし、プロモもかっこよかったなぁー。

2曲目の「Stay Young」はA面に変わってラジオで流れるのも分かるくらいの必殺B面曲。
あんな壮大なA面曲の裏にこんなポップな歌を入れてくるoasis的な感覚は健在。
歌詞もよく書けてると思うし言うことなし！！

3曲目の「Angel Child (Demo)」はノエルの引き語りソング。
曲名に（Demo）と記載されているが発表されているのはこのテイクだけであるw
ノエルらしい影のあるAメロのメロディから明るめのサビに持っていく。
意外と悪くない曲。

4曲目の「Heroes」はDavid Bowie（デヴィッド・ボウイ）のアルバムHeroesに収録された表題曲のカバー。
歌っているのはノエル。
名曲のカバーだから悪いはずはないんだけど、比較的よい出来たカバーではないでしょうか。
