まだ10代の頃まだBasiaがマットビアンコに在籍していたころのマットビアンコは好きでよく聞いていました。
Basiaの歌ってた探偵物語（邦題変だな。。。）今でも良いと思うんですが。
当時のブームもあったせいか彼女はなんか流行のおしゃれ系・・・という歌の実力もさることながらイメージの方も同じ位先行して売れてたように思うのは私だけでしょうか。

その後もうかれこれ20年近くの月日が経ちその間時々ラジオ等で聞くBasiaって歌うまいよなーなんて思っていましたが私も年くったせいかいろんな人を聞いても以前よりもっとそう感じるようになりました。
いろんなジャンルの女性歌手がいますが彼女の歌の上手さはやはりトップグループに入るんではないでしょうか。

声もとてもクリアーで綺麗だしリズム!愡!?もあってとても生き生きした感じ。でもって大人向けだ・・・。
ジャズを歌ってた。。と聞いたような気がしたが（間違ってたらごめんなさい）それも納得。

このベストアルバムを買うきっかけは最近ラジオで何回か彼女の歌を聞き思いだし一つ買って保存版にしとかなきゃ。。と思いつつもつい忘れようやくネットで注文したのでした。買って良かったです。
きっとこれから時々、でもこの先長ーく飽きる事なく聞くことになるアルバムになるでしょう・・・

いい音楽歌の上手さは全く時代関係なく色褪せないな。。。とつくづく感じました。

見ての通りbasia（とdanny white）のベストです。
収録曲は「drunk of love」や「third time lucky」等ノリの
いいものから、「clear horizon」や「angel blush」のような
清々しいもの、一方で「cruising for bruising」
や「time and tide」もチャッカリ収録してあったりで、
コレ一枚に濃いbasiaがギュッと詰まっています。

ただ気になるのが「copernicus」が収録されてないことでしょうか。
かなり良いベストだけにそこだけが残念ということで星４つ。
