　私は、ＡＯＲで有名な頃の彼を、よく存じ上げておりません。
私が好きな彼のアルバムと言ったら、『シンフォニー・セッションズ』で、
つまり、彼のバラードが好きなのです。(↑オーケストラ演奏)
　
　そして、このアルバムもまさしくバラードのたくさん詰まった物です。
一時期『癒し』なんていうのがブームになっていましたが、

私はバラード自体、心に響いてくる音楽だと思うので、
そのようなジャンルができあがる前の、このＣＤであっても、
十分に癒されるように感じます。

11がヒットしたので、急遽つくった有り合わせのような印象のアルバムです。プロダクションも一貫してはおらず、打ち込みのバックに自身のピアノをかぶせたようなものから、きちんとバックのミュージシャンを使用したものまで。今ではそれも当然のアルバムは多いですが、彼に求めるものが高いだけにこれでは納得できません。いいかげんにこの路線から脱しないと、ただのヒット屋さんになってしまうと思います。ガンバレ!!!
