自己催眠に関する本は数多いが、中身の薄いものが多い。特に和書はセンセーショナルなタイトルの割には読み応えがない。本書は確かな研究に基づいた中身がぎっちり詰まった内容となっており、読み手に知的な緊張感を促す。さりとて著書の暖かい人間性が感じられ、読み手の気持ちを楽にしてくれる。この本をじっくり研究すれば他の本を読む必要性を感じないと思う。ただ暗示例文はくどいし、また万人になじめない部分があるが、あくまでも参考で、実際にはヒーリングミュージックでも効きながら自分だけのオリジナルのものをつくり実践すればいい。著者もそれを期待している。本書は読み終わった後が大切で、それからが本書と本当のつきあいになっていく。私も実践してみてかなり効果があった。

内容を拝見しまして、施術者からクライアントへ語りかける催眠誘導の言葉が普通一般に使われている言葉ではないように感じました。
作者の母国語での会話としては普通なのかも知れませんが、日本語に訳すと普段は私たちが使わない言い回しになってしまったのかなと思われます。（私だったら何を言っているの考えてしまって催眠状態に入れなさそうです）

その他にパソコンの仕組みをよく知っている人限定のパソコンの動作をイメージした催眠誘導とか神を崇拝するイメージを用いた宗教的な誘導など関係する人にはとても有効ではあるが全ての人向けでないように感じました。

タイトルは催眠療法だが、内容は自己催眠のマニュアル本である。
説明は丁寧で、使いやすい本だと思う。
この本をよめば、暗示例文やイメージ誘導の方法がわかるので、
自分用にアレンジして使えるようになると思う。
