5.0 out of 5 stars 解き方矯正の本, 2006/12/27
パワフルコード(問題３個とそれらを解く合言葉)27個と、
10個のCrux(重要ポイント)、そして Practice Test ７回分の構成。

文法の解説書というよりは、文法問題の解き方自体を矯正してくれる本です。

日本の教育を受けた結果、文章の意味に常にとらわれるので、
分からない単語があると、もう解けないような気になりがちだったのですが、
常に形を意識すれば問題ではないことを叩き込んでくれました。

解説が本当によく練られていて、教室で実践してきた結果であることが
よく伝わってきます。間違った問題の解説を見ると、「ここでxxを選んだ人は..」
と、そう選んだ理由の予想と、覚えるべきことが書かれていて、
これがもう「はい、その通りです！」と言いたくなるような的中ぶり。

これで私も<<ア・ソーカ症候群>>(本書中の言葉。解説を見ると分かる症候群)から
おさらばできそうです。

本の厚みを見ると「こんな分厚い本、短期間で最後までできるのか~！？」と思いましたが、一つ一つのセクションが３問ずつなので、次へ次へと進むことができ、まだ購入したばかりですが、もう終わりに近づいています。解説もわかりやすく、ポイントがしっかりとおさえてあるので、何度も繰り返せば解法が定着する思います。この本特有の Powerful Code（解法のポイント）をマスターしていけば文法の点数は確実に上がると思います。
初めての人やなかなか点数が伸びない人におすすめの文法問題集です。

解説が良いです。難しい言葉が並んで理解しにくい解説なども多く感じるのですが、これはわかりやすく書いてあります。問題数も充分です。出やすい単語なども書いてあります。英文法の勉強をしたいけど、どの本を選んだらいいかわからない、という人におすすめだと思います。
