もうすぐ、みすゞさんの生誕百周年を迎えます。大正時代の人がこんなにかわいくて、切ない詩を残したんですね。文庫本として、手ごろな値段で誰でもが読めるでしょう。読めば読むほど味のでてくる詩です。小学校の国語の教科書にも紹介されてる詩もあり、親子で楽しめる１冊です。

　金子みすゞの作品は、多くの童謡詩人の作品のように「可愛らしく」「微笑ましく」というのとは少し違います。中勘助の小説のような素朴さもある一方、どことなく寂寥感に溢れ、またあるときは突然「死」を意識させるなど、陰影に富んでいる異色の童謡です。
　金子みすゞは望まぬ結婚をさせられ、夫に性病をうつされ、断筆させられ、さらに離婚後子供を奪われそうになり自殺しています。彼女の作品をその悲惨な人生と切り離して考えることは出来ないでしょう。

人や花や動物や、なにやかんや、周囲のすべてに注がれる金子みすずさんのやさしい気持ちに触れて、私の心が洗われます。みすずさんの感受性に憧れながら日々を過ごしたいと思います。
